A Year of Redefining Dining in L.A
08.23.25
Welcome to Part IX.
A year ago, the L.A. Times named us one of nine supper clubs redefining how Los Angeles dines—a moment that made us pause, reflect, and stay true to what makes Campo special. Tonight, we celebrate that spirit with new dishes like Baja-inspired lobster sopes that speak to what we do at Campo, alongside signatures that continue to shaped who we are: arroz con hongo served on a paella pan, hamachi tostada with house burnt chili aioli, smoked scallops and shrimp over sweet corn pudding, and many more that feel uniquely ours.
Keep reading for a closer look at tonight’s standout dishes and the stories behind them.

Menu Highlights :
Scallop + Shrimp: A fresh take on a classic shrimp and grits; Fire-kissed shrimp and bay scallops sautéed with garlic, parsley, and a splash of white wine, served over peak-season sweet corn pudding and finished with fresh garden chives.
Lobster Sopes: Inspired by the flavors of Puerto Nuevo, tender lobster in a chile butter crowns crisp, heirloom blue corn sopes. Layered with lard-braised beans, bright salsa enchilada made in house, whipped avocado, and tangy lime-cured onions.
Wood Roasted Duck: Experience duck two-ways: aromatic brined for 18 hours, with the leg slow-cooked confit and the breast smoked for a contrast in textures. Paired with a rich and flavorful black garlic mole that brings an asian twist to the dish. Served with South Pasadena’s farmer’s market heirloom carrots and rainbow cauliflower.
Honorable Mention :
Our gaucho asado, a bold Argentine-inspired feast featuring our signature 15-day, dry-aged, 30 ounce bone-in ribeye, house-made Argentine chorizo developed exclusively in house and vibrant chimichurri to bring it all together on a sizzling hot cast iron.
Uly & Adri’s Drink Recommendation :
Bramble Smash: Larceny bourbon, fresh lemon, house rosemary syrup, and muddled blackberries—shaken and served over ice. Finished with a sprig of rosemary and a twist of lemon. Bright, herbaceous, and summer-ready.
Gin & Flora: Perfect for a warm summer night. Bright and botanical, this cocktail blends Citadelle gin with elderflower liquor, crisp cucumber, and fresh lime for a refreshing floral finish.
As always - have a drink, share a plate, and enjoy.
